Madagascar, which is the third largest island in the world after New Guinea and Borneo, can be considered as a mini continent presenting all the types of tropical soils, climates, and ecosystems.
As a result of variations in the conditions of the environment such as alternative dry and humid periods, cold and warm ones, the Malagasy flora began to evolve in isolation 165 million years ago, at the time when Madagascar began to separate from the Horn of Africa. This evolution has been going on until now, and new species are discovered every day.
Due to adaptation to many varied ecological niches, the Malagasy plants have developed a secondary original metabolism, thus synthesizing many chemical substances; some of them sometimes unique and characteristic of a given species with medicinal and aromatic properties which are being studied by national and international scientists. The essence of many Malagasy plants is now part of the composition of the medicine used in the world.
A biodiversity rich with more than 12,000 species of plants, 90% are endemic.
A team of scientist, who are well aware of this immense wealth of the biodiversity, have travelled all over Madagascar for 10 years, have spent a lots time with local people to understand the traditional use of thousands of plants. Studies, analyses, formulation, tests have been carried out, and they finally discovered a medication for HIV and AIDS.
Scientists and medical professors from various countries have already analyzed the discovery, and confirmed that it is indeed a viricide which can eliminate the HIV and AIDS in one month, and that after a test on 20 Aids patients the result is 100% of cure with complete regression of clinical signs and negative viral load for the patients treated.
